Ingredients for Sushi Rice Balls(for 1 person/2 balls):
- 1 cup of short grain rice
- 1 cup of water
- 1 can of tuna
- 2 tbs mayo
- 1 tbs of rice vinegar
- 1 tbs dashi powder
Preparation
- first you cook the rice like a normal person would ( if you aren't sure please go ask your mom)
- after it's done cooking, mix the rice with the rice vinegar in a non metallic bowl
- while the rice is cooling down a bit, mix the mayo, dashi powder, and tuna together in another bowl
- once the rice is cool enough to handle (but still a bit warm), grab a regular cereal bowl, line it with seran wrap, form a layer of rice to the shape of the bowl like a cup.
- once you have done that, fill it with some a good scoop of tuna
- place a small layer of rice on top of the tuna
- pick up the rice in the seran wrap and cup it in your hands to form a ball.
- make sure none of the tuna is exposed
